The idea
This year, coffee becomes a journey.
We chose twelve roasters from twelve countries and asked each of them one question: which coffee deserves to become a destination?
That is how The Coffee Journey was born: a route of twelve stops through specialty coffee today. From Helsinki to the United States, every numbered pouch opens a new country, a new roaster and a new coffee.
We searched the world for coffees worth travelling for. We found them. They're pretty good.*

On every pouch: the destination number, the city, the country, the roaster, the origin, the producer, the variety, the process, the altitude and the tasting notes.
The QR code opens the full story of the roaster and the producer, the processing details and two recipes: the roaster's and ours. Plus a button to the next stop.

Made to be opened slowly.
A matte black box designed like a travel object: an embossed world map, a gold-foil flight route and twelve numbered destinations. It looks just as good under the tree as on someone's desk.

Questions
Before you set off.
What is the difference between Origins and Masterpiece?
Origins: great coffees from great roasters, the full journey. Masterpiece: the coffees roasters rarely let go, meaning Geisha, Wush Wush, rare varieties and exceptional lots, in a numbered edition.
What is the difference between 20 g and 40 g?
20 g is one careful brew per day. 40 g gives you two brews, or room to dial in your recipe.
Are the roasters the same in both editions?
Yes. The route and the twelve destinations are the same. The coffees are different.
Do I know the roasters in advance?
We reveal the countries and some of the roasters before shipping. The rest stay a surprise until the morning you open the destination.
Is it only for filter?
No. Every coffee is roasted Omni-Light, a light profile that works for both filter and espresso.
When does it arrive?
We ship between 29 November and 1 December, so the box is home well before the first destination, on 13 December.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Choose a different delivery address and we leave the invoice out of the parcel.
Can I pay on delivery?
No. The calendar is paid online only.
